The Gathering 2009

On the 25th and 26th July 2009 Edinburgh will witness one of the largest clan gatherings in history organised by The Gathering 2009 and supported by the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs. Holyrood Park will host a magnificent Highland Games over the two days, then on the Saturday evening Clan members will parade up the historic Royal Mile and take their seats on the castle esplanade for a spectacular Clan Pageant ('Passports' are needed for this Event).

The Clan McLea/Livingstone have taken a tent at the Clan Village and the Chief will be there to greet as many clansmen as possible.

Passports are running out - so people who are interested should obtain one as soon as possible.

As some people will be travelling quite a distance we have asked Scottish Ancestral Trail to prepare and cost a clan tour. This will include a Gold Passport.
